NZT: Loreli Cheesy Love Songwriting Contest Finalist

Loreli's first-ever songwriting contest just wrapped up with our Love Revival showcase at Temple last week. We enlisted the help of Loreli contributor Liz Tung, Live Beijing Music founder Will Griffith, and DJ Jonny Hutong to judge all of the spectacularly cheesy entries until they whittled it down to two. Our two songwriting finalists were invited to perform their cheesy love songs at the showcase and now we are sharing their winning songs with you! This week we are sharing one of the two winning songs, NZT with "She Only Sings at Parties."

About NZT:

NZT is an all expat ORIGINALs band playing a mix of heavy rock and psychedelic pop, with a sprinkling of deep blues. Featuring members from Australia (Justin Richardson, lead vocals and guitar), US (Ian Chase, lead guitar) & (Rob Wendt, bass and vocals), and Germany (Jonathan Schoo, drums). Collectively they have played in extensive line up of bands in Beijing over the years from 1998 to the present. NZT features as the core band in SUBTRAINIAN Mockumentary TV series about the Beijing live music scene currently being filmed in Beijing. NZT was also one of the the winners of the recent LoReLi “Cheesy Love Song” writing competition. For the record, “NZT” is the name of the mind enhancing drug from the Bradley Cooper film “Limitless”.
